Northfield Promise is organizing a community-wide book drive throughout summer to stock book carts at Northfield day camp programs through the YMCA and Community Action Center. The goal is to help ensure that every child has easy access to wonderful books that will help them dream big! Content has curated this list in collaboration with Northfield Promise staff, and they feature inclusive books for kids in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We’ve selected titles that that portray ALL children, honor diverse backgrounds, languages, abilities and perspectives, and that include stories by and about people of color.
Please include “Northfield Promise” in your order comments at checkout, and Content will donate 20% of your purchase on these books back to Northfield Promise in the form of books!
Books can be donated to Rotary Collection Bins at the following locations:
YMCA, Community Action Center, Greenvale Park Elementary School, Northfield Community Education Center or by appointment laura@healthycommunityinitiative.org
