Description

We’re looking for volunteers to help us plan, build & maintain our inclusive community garden!

Our focus is on ensuring that this garden is accessible to all and we'll be accomplishing this by designing with inclusion from the start. Accessibility elements we are thinking about include hard-packed pathways, raised beds with options for wheelchair tuck-under access, nearby shade and more. Whether you have gardening expertise, accessibility experience, a new desire to learn about gardening/accessibility or even a brown thumb, we welcome you!

General Timeline:
Now through March: identifying plants, collecting seeds, designing dream garden beds
March - April: detailed garden layout, building mini greenhouses, refining designs
April - May: building garden beds, laying pathways
Early May: spring clean-up at the farm
Late May: plants in ground, community gardening sessions

We are committed to making gardening accessible, inclusive and FUN! We would love to hear from you.
