Northfield Promise helps to maintain 15 community bookshelves around the city of Northfield. Volunteers are needed to fill and straighten shelves monthly to maintain good relationships with the businesses/organizations hosting the bookshelves and keep them looking appealing to young families growing new readers.
Gently used books are located that the Northfield Community Resource Center and HCI provides bins and roller cart for transport to your vehicle. We track the number of books distributed for reporting so counts will be needed at least quarterly.
