Free Food Help Yourself - Garden Bed Builder Volunteers Needed
Free Food Help Yourself is a network of boulevard garden bed growers in Northfield who work together to grow food to share with everyone in the community to glean and eat.
This year, we will be having a work day to build 2 garden beds, installing and filling them with soil/compost. If there are enough volunteers, we will do repair or signage improvement on existing beds and possibly move a bed.
When: Saturday, May 7, 2022
Time: 10am until work is finished
Where: Meet at 600 7th St E Northfield MN, and then move to the boulevards.
If you have a truck and can pick up compost, or can bring tools such as shovels or wood working tools that would be very helpful.
We welcome minors with parental consent 16+ with their own transport, 14+ with a parent/guardian/proxy.
