Description

Wildlife Counts with Sharing Our Roots

Volunteer opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about

Minnesota’s native species.

Looking for

2-4 volunteers who can help us collect bird and amphibian data at the Sharing Our Roots Farm

(4905 315 th St. W).

WildlifeCounts is a citizen science wildlife monitoring project that seeks to document the return
of wildlife to the Sharing Our Roots Farm, educate on the importance of wildlife on agricultural
lands and offer conservation tools to farmers and landowners who wish to preserve biodiversity
on their farms. Each year, we catalog the presence of birds and amphibians to understand the
impacts of our regenerative practices on native species.

Watch our Volunteer Page for future opportunities.
